The Shelford Group and IPPR (Institute for Public Policy Research) have come together to develop a unique secondment opportunity for emerging NHS leaders in Shelford Group trusts. The innovation policy fellow role will have the opportunity to work with policy experts at the IPPR on national health policy priorities.
In designing this secondment opportunity, the intention is to achieve three key objectives around policy output and development; professional development; and service continuity and value added for the secondees current NHS organisation.
The secondment is a part time placement lasting between three and six months, and is intended to be undertaken alongside the candidate’s substantive role. It would suit a mid-career level NHS professional, with a clinical background, currently working in a Shelford Group organisation. This is not a funded secondment, so needs to represent an opportunity to address professional development or existing organisational objectives.
The deadline for applications is Friday 5 April 2019. Download further information here.
